Merchandising tips

Always install the valve in an accessible position avoid burying
or concealing it behind permanent finishes without an access panel,
as future maintenance will require reaching the lever handle.

Install a union adaptor on each side of the ball valve for major
isolation valves this allows the valve to be removed and replaced
without cutting the pipeline if it ever fails.
