The PPR Plastic Transition Union Adaptor is a detachable union fitting that allows a PPR pipeline to be disconnected and reconnected at a specific point without cutting the pipe. One end heat fusion welds onto the PPR pipe while the other end connects to a threaded
or plain outlet the union nut allows the joint to be released and re-engaged for maintenance, equipment replacement, or system modification. Commonly used at pump connections, water heater inlets, valve service points, and anywhere in the PPR system where future disconnection may be required. Compatible with PN16 and PN20 PPR pipes. Install a union adaptor at every pump inlet and outlet during initial PPR system installation retrofitting union points later requires cutting the pipe and adding extra fittings, which is far more costly.
Always check the union nut O-ring for wear before reconnecting after a maintenance disconnection a worn O-ring causes leaks at the union point under working pressure.
