The PPR Reducing Tee is a three-way heat fusion pipe fitting with two equal run ends and one smaller diameter branch outlet used wherever a PPR mainline needs to branch off a smaller service line at the same junction point. Unlike the equal tee where all three ends are the same size, the reducing tee integrates a size reduction at the branch outlet, eliminating the need for a separate reducer fitting on the branch line. Always confirm both the run pipe OD and branch pipe OD before ordering
— e.g. 40x25mm means 40mm run ends and 25mm branch outlet. Ordering the wrong size combination is the most common site mistake with reducing tees. Orient the branch outlet in the correct direction before welding the run ends once the run joints set the branch position is fixed and cannot be rotated.
