Install at every pump inlet and outlet, boiler connection, and
major valve service point during initial PPR system installation retrofitting union points later requires cutting the pipe.
Always inspect and replace the union nut O-ring if any weeping is noticed at the union joint the O-ring is the sealing element and degrades over time under high temperature and pressure cycling.
